An extremely competent race with more than half the runners laying strong claims. Galway Bay with experience and good performances is the first pick ahead of Sergeant Reckless and White Roses.

2. Ayr – Was erratic right from start and gave her jockey a tough time all through the race running woefully green even in the straight. That he still managed to figure in the frame. Can place.

4. London Bell – Has had two decent starts and improved after his debut. Last spurt shows him in good light; merits consideration.

5. Sergeant Reckless – Fair fifth last time out just over two lengths behind the winner. Working regularly and looking much fitter. Shapes as one of the top contenders.

6. Superstellar – has had a steady preparation for his debut, striding out well in the morning trials. Can do well.

7. Galway Bay – Ran both her races well and looks much better prepared. Should be involved in the finish.

8. White Roses – Fourth on her debut run, working fluently and can make her presence felt.

2. Morior Invictus – Has been picking up and has rarely run a poor race in his seven starts, just once perhaps. Gets a set he can do well and is in with good chance.

3. Ok Boss – Improved third last time out; can go close.

6. Isra – Third last time out, can place again.

7. My Master – A place prospect.

2. General Atlantic – Failed favorite last time out, can be persisted with as he has a good chance to make amends.

3. Paladino – Fluent winner last time out and on that performance there is no reason why he cannot repeat. Merits strong consideration.

8. Prime Gardenia – Second in the lower class, may find this company tough.

1. Francis Bacon – Looking good on the work track with some spirited gallops; getting into shape and can do well.

2. Ashwa Raudee – Won over the trip in lower class and then finishing third in the 2000 Guineas puts him right in with a good chance.

3. Southern Princess – Going over the trip for the first time and all will depend on how well she can stay. Has the form to give a good account of herself.

5. Buckley – Finished close behind Ashwa Raudee in the Guineas, can improve going by her pleasing track work. In with a decent chance.

7. Painted Apache – Will do well to place.

10. Fire Power – Was slowly off in the Guineas but is working impressively of late. Can figure in the finish.

1. Lockhart - Finishing on fourth last time out and this augurs well for the seven year old to fare better this time.

2. Once More – Can place at best.

4. Southern Act – Has been consistent of late and can assert herself in this set. Strong contender.

5. Salisbury – Won well enough in the lower class to fight on in this higher set.

8. Truth And Dare – Two unplaced efforts, but seems to be coming on, may need this run before he peaks.

10. Theo's Choice- Has been consistent in recent runs and can make his presence felt in this set.

A tricky race with none staking too strong a claim! ON the Guineas line, Own Voice, Ruling Goddess and Maximum Glamour are likely to be seen vying for honours.

1. Aretha – Fourth in the Calcutta Oaks (Gr3), will have to do a lot better.

2. Faith of Success – Shed her maiden status in her last run at Bangalore, lacks the experience.

3. Icicle – Has looked good in each of her three wins, two of which have been over the mile. Is yet to traverse over the longer distance, hence a lil uncertainty clouds upon her staying ability. Can however, go close.

4. Keystone – Hasn’t gone beyond the shorter seven furlong distance, hard to see her do the drill over hitherto unchartered territory.

5. Maximum Glamour – Winner of three races and has the experience. Has won over 1800m, hence has shown staying ability. Gets a top rider to partner, so shapes as one of the top fancies.

6. Own Voice – Good second behind Miracle in the Golconda 1000 Guineas (Gr.2) over a mile on debut run. Shapes as one of the top contenders.

7. Ruling Goddess – Improved from the rear to finish third in Miracle’s Guineas, has plenty of scope to improve. Though a maiden yet, gets an inexperienced set to bloom within.

8. Winmylove – Has won over seven furlongs hence can only hope to do well.
