2. Essential – Decent third last time out, can improve with the run benefit.

4. London Belle – Slowly off on debut run then rallied to finish one off the frame. Can hope to finish in the frame.

5. Midsummer Star – Working fluently and has been prepared well. Can be expected to do well on debut.

6. Survivor – Last spurt was noteworthy and he comes right into the reckoning.

7. Candy Girl – Regular on her morning workouts and looks fit, can do well.

8. Pleroma – Looks a decent prospect and with top rider to pilot, can run prominently.

Looks an open race and a close finish between Despang, Star Dancer and Grand Finale is on the cards.

1. Star Dancer – Has been placing consistently, can be involved in the finish.

2. Quality Warrior - Into the reckoning on his last two runs, has a fight on hand alright.

3. Gregor Clegane - On board over sprint distance in earlier runs, can hope to finish in the frame.

6. Zeus - Fourth in both his runs so far, likely to improve and finish in the money.

7. Grand Duke – Hasn’t been too consistent, but the allowance claim looks an advantage.

9. Despang – decent third last time out and is working well currently. Is likely to finish in the money.

3. Pacific Command – second in his only run and is working well; should be better prepared this time.

4. Special Effort – Has placed a couple of times but has not shown the level of consistency required. Can place again though.

7. Sally – Third last time out and is working well; can be in the fight.

9. Cash Register - Twice on board and is shaping well, can improve.

10. Sorry Darling – Ridden hard to finish second last time out, can be involved in the finish.

4. Crazy Horse– Made a late charge to fill the frame, in better hands today and can do better.

6. Moringa – Winner in the lower class, can hope to place at best.

7. Super Angel – A place prospect.

8. Galwan - Impressive winner last time; going over a mile for the first time, has the potential to do well.

9. In Contention - Came from far behind to finish second over nine furlongs in her last start, working well and can make amends.

10. Pinatubo – has come in from Kolkata and is entitled to a run.

1. Nightmare - A winner over a  mile. The filly has been in the reckoning in recent runs. Keep an eye.

2. Bold Bidding - Fair third last time out over 7 furlongs trip and will look to improve on that.

4. Forever Bond - Not the most consistent, her recent work well and choice of rider is indicative.

5. Ice Berry - Won well over a mile distance last time out, hence can do well.

7. Philanthropist - An eye catching third to Count of Savoy on debut attempt and can break the ice soon.

8. Lightning Fairy - A winner over a mile last time out as favourite, working well and will not go down without a fight.

10. Queen Blossom - Third last time out after a win, but not consistent best left alone.

2. Shivalik Sight - Has good form and workouts to consider, should run to her best potential on her first run on this turf.

3. Ashwa Yashobali - Has placed fairly consistently and can be in the fighting line.

4. Skipton- Prepared well to handle this longer trip, a place prospect.

5. Scramjet - Unlucky last time, went through a rough passage. Impressive in the morning trials, will certainly perform to his best ability.

8. Strategist - No recent form to consider, the distance may be too long, company is too difficult to compete.

9. Kesariya Balam - All efforts to catch the leader did not turn fruitful in his last run, has to fight again with the younger lot in the higher set to get a place.

10. Summer Night - Has the terrific speed to fight out, can take on any strong contender in this set for a grand stand finish.

4. Exotic Dancer - Has good initial speed, but lacks the finishing skill, should fight to claim a place.

5. Miss Little Angel - Few of the morning workouts are promising to fight for her maiden win.

9. Jo Malone - First time on board after a longish gap, can improve further.

10. Big Day - Placed well with the weights, morning workouts are well enough to give a fight.

Best Choices 2-9-10
