A tricky race to filter with so many first timers in the fray. Almas with a forward run under her belt looks the most likely to score. Ashoka too would benefit from his debut run, while among the debutantes, Tihamah and Mysterious Angel look well-prepared.

1 Ashoka – Good third on debut; working well and should show good improvement over his debut run.

5. Tihamah – Looking good on the work track; assigned to a top jockey, bears watching.

6. Almas – Has had a good outing while finishing second on debut run. Working well and looks better equipped to deliver this time.

7. Divine Connection – Finished way too far behind on debut run; needs to improve.

8. Lady Dynamite – Working fairly well in the morning trials, can run a forward race.

10. Mysterious Angel – Shaping well in trials, can run a prominent race.

Theo’s Choice after two good outings looks the one to beat. The other main contenders are likely to be among Sea of Class, Wot’s Up Jay, My Master and Sye Ra.

1 My Master – Back to the lower class after two fair runs and with an allowance claim, can be in the thick of things.

5. Theo’s Choice – Found one better twice in last two runs, can strike it this time.

6. Wot’s Up Jay – Twice second in last two runs and over the shortened distance, can make his presence felt.

7. Sye Ra – Late finishing third last time out, can place again.

9. Smart Money – Fifth last time out and looks on the improve. Can hope for a frame-finish.

11.Silver Set – Showed a bit of spark while fourth last time out. Can improve on that effort.

12. Racing Rani – Unplaced in last few runs, cannot fancy.

Superlative looks battle ready and should give a good account of himself. Inderdhanush looks a promising candidate, while Wind Sprite and Milton Keynes can hope to show sizable improvement over their previous runs.

2. Inderdhanush – Working fairly well and gets the services of a top rider. In with a chance.

4. Superlative – Has had a good forward debut run and subsequent workouts have been leasing. Has all the chances to strike it rich this time.

5. Wind Sprite – Has run twice and hit the frame on both occasions. Working well and can hope for a frame finish yet again.

10. White Roses – Working decently but may need this outing to get into shape.

Monarchos gets a chance to make amends and with the experience of a run, should go close. Top IN Class and N R I Touch are live threats though.

2. N R I Touch – Has been consistent right through and finished on well to pick up his maiden win last time out. Has the form to defy the penalty and rise again.

3. Monarchos – Failed favorite on his first run on this track; working well and can make amends.

4. Sundown Park – Showed a bit of spark while finishing third last time out; can build on that run.

6. Gusty Note – Quick on the pedal and leads from the start, over the scurry, always has a chance.

8. Top In Class – Arrived with a dazzling late finish but failed narrowly to beat the winner. Tracking well and has the form to trouble the best.

9. Flamingo Flame – Won well in the lower class but contends among a tough speedy bunch. Can hope to finish in the frame.

11. Golden Forza – Third last time out, can hope to place.

Watch My Stride is expected to do well; while Vijays Simha has seen better company. Blissful has as good a chance as any. Beauty on Parade too can add pep to the finish.

2. Watch My Stride – Won last time out over a similar distance and will look to score an encore over the similar trip

4. Vijays Simha – Hasn’t raced since July and may need this race to  tune up; the scurry too may be a tad sharp.

8. Blissful – Fairly consistent and has the speed as well; merits consideration.

10. Burano – Winner in the lower class but hasn’t really matched up to tougher opposition. Can only hope to place at best.

Bernini gets a good chance to score, Indie, if back to his debut fitness can pull through; while Paladino can show marked improvement. Ayur Tej is the dark ‘un.

1 Indie – Racing after a layoff, but has looked good in the workouts. Gets a weak looking set hence can make his presence felt.

4. Bernini – Has had the feel of the course a couple of times and showed a bit of spark last time out. Can show further improvement.

5. Paladino – Has been consistently hitting the board, can place.

11. Solar Eclipse – Unplaced in three starts, but latest his spurt was pleasing. Gets a positive jockey switch too, hence bears watching.

Best Choices – 4-1-11
